The posted salary reflects the role as described; however, compensation may be adjusted based on a candidate’s level of experience and will be communicated transparently during the hiring process.
Compensation range: $95k-$110k

The Senior Accountant’s role will be to manage financial operations and drive strategic insights for their clients. In this position, the Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, improve processes, and strengthen internal controls while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Role Responsibilities:
- Strong foundation of US GAAP reporting. Apply in-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
- Month-end close, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, analyzing variances, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Consolidation accounting including intercompany eliminations, reconciliations, and alignment of accounting policies across entities.
- Financial statement preparation; monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Financial analysis and budgeting. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
- Full-cycle A/P and A/R. Oversee and manage the full accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles.
- G/L reconciliations including detailed general ledger reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Revenue recognition – Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including reviewing contracts, applying appropriate accounting guidance, and maintaining supporting documentation.
- Payroll interface and full-cycle processing including coordinating with third-party provide and ensuring accurate recording of payroll entries.
- Support for various accounting projects including but not limited to system implementations, process improvements, audit support, and internal control enhancements.
- Experience with startups, technology, and/or life science companies. Operate effectively and professionally in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Adapt to evolving processes while supporting scaling operations and complex business models.

They will also provide actionable insights through financial analysis, supporting informed decision-making and long-term growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA strongly preferred, MBA a plus
- Public accounting audit background, ideally with a Big Four firm
- Prefer minimum 3 years up to 5 years client facing experience
- Industry experience in technology (preferably SaaS and hardware), medical device, or life sciences, particularly within growth-stage or start-up environments
- 1+ years’ experience with Bill.com, Ramp and BREX
- 1+ years’ experience working at a start-up company
- 2+ years’ experience with QuickBooks online
- Experience with NetSuite, Xero, Expensify, Gusto, Rippling, Syft Analytics a plus
- Proficient in Excel
- Detail-oriented, organized, and has exceptional communication skills
- Comfortable operating independently in fast-paced, high-growth environments while collaborating effectively across functions
